The Band
Moosemania ist eine 2019 gegründete Rockband aus Deutschland um Gitarrist, Sänger und Komponist Martin Moose Richter. Die Band tritt als klassisches Rock Trio mit Gesang, Gitarre, Bass und Schlagzeug auf. Konzept: Ohne viel Lametta gute Musik machen, und vor allem Spaß haben. Das funktioniert, weil die Musiker viel Live-, Band- und Studio-Erfahrung mitbringen. Alle spielen in unterschiedlichsten Formationen und sind in der Musikszene gut vernetzt.
„Moose“ lässt sich beim Songwriting ordentlich von Genre-Bands wie „Porcupine Tree“ oder „The Pineapple Thief“ inspirieren. Ergebnis sind Stücke, die meist über hitkonforme 3:30 Minuten hinaus gehen. Die Musik folgt ausschließlich künstlerischen Ansprüchen! Die Songs sind witzig, ironisch, gut überlegt und dürfen auch mal komplexer sein. Es geht um Leben, Geschichten, Dramen, und damit um jeden und um uns selbst! Moosemania macht keinen Mainstream- Pop, puristischen Blues oder Classic Rock! Im „Schmelztiegel“ werden Roots fusioniert, wodurch reichlich Raum für kreative Momente entsteht.
Die markante Stimme von Martin Richter und seine virtuos kantigen Gitarrenriffs prägen den Sound der Band. Für die tricky Grooves sorgt Matthias Wagner an den Drums und das satte Fundament liefert Bassmann Mathias Ketterer. Die drei erfahrenen Musiker navigieren gekonnt und leidenschaftlich durch die Moosemania-Songs, und sind auf der Bühne immer für spontane Überraschungen zu haben. Live wird die gerade erst erschienene EP „Paranoia“ präsentiert, aber noch viele andere Songs aus der Feder von„Moose“.
Im Studio vervollständigen der Produzent und Drummer Jürgen Schlachter (36Music, Tab Two, Kraan, Hellmut Hattler) sowie der Bassist und musikalische Begleiter Eric Ruby das Team. Die aktuelle Release von Moosemania mit dem Titel "Paranoia" ist als CD beim Label 36Music veröffentlicht und zusätzlich auf den Plattformen iTunes, Spotify, Deezer, Qobuz, Tidal und Amazon erhältlich.
Moosemania is a rock band from Germany around guitarist, singer and songwriter Martin Moose Richter. Moosemania was founded in 2019 and is a classic rock trio with vocals, guitar, bass and drums.
Their approach: To make good music and above all to have fun! This works as the musicians have a lot of experience playing in bands, playing live, playing in a studio. All of them have played with various formations and are well-known in the music scene. Matthias Wagner played drums with Sir Price, Indoor Picnic, Disco Flash and the Spice Project. Mathias Ketterer is the bassist of Burning Flash and the Christoph Manz Project. Moosemania has played in front of enthusiastic audiences at various events!
Moosemania mainly play their own music and they have an extensive repertoire of songs as Moose is constantly writing new ones. He is inspired by bands like Porcupine Tree or The Pineapple Thief. The result are songs that usually go beyond the hit-conformant 3:30 minutes. The music solely follows artistic demands. The songs are witty, ironic, well thought-out and sometimes may also be a bit more complex. They are about life, stories, drama and therefore they are about everybody and ourselves. Moosemania don’t do mainstream pop, puristic blues or classic rock – in their melting pot they fusion roots which opens up room for creative ideas.
Playing in the studio, the producer and drummer Jürgen Schlachter (36Music, Tab Two, Kraan, Hellmut Hattler) and the bassist and musical accompanist Eric Ruby complete the team. The current release of Moosemania titled „Paranoia“ is released as a CD by the label 36Music and is also available on iTunes, Deezer, Amazon, Tidal, Qobuz and Spotify.
